ACCESS ADMISSION PROGRAM

Modesto Children’s Museum is proud to offer discounted admission options for visitors who are identified as low income, defined as receiving SNAP / EBT benefits (“CalFresh” in California). For families receiving SNAP benefits who wish to take advantage of this program, admission to the Modesto Children’s Museum is half price, including children (ages 1+) and adults. Tickets are available online and pre-purchase is highly recommended.

Please note:

• To purchase or redeem pre-purchased SNAP / EBT admission, an adult member of the visiting party must present a SNAP / EBT card with their name and a matching photo ID.

• One named adult with a SNAP / EBT card may purchase up to six total admission tickets per visit using the SNAP / EBT discount.

• MoChiMu’s access program is intended for family visits, and the SNAP / EBT discount applies only to those individuals who reside in the household with the adult named on the SNAP / EBT card.

• Access-priced admission options does not apply to Field Trips, Group Visitors, Birthday Parties, or Memberships. Keep in mind, any groups larger than 10 total visitors must be booked as a Group Visit through MoChiMu’s Director of Education, and must pay the museum’s group admission rate. SNAP / EBT discounts do not apply.
