Babies (up to 11 months) – FREE
Children (ages 1 - 18) – $15
Adults (ages 18+) – $15
Families who receive SNAP benefits can participate in the "Museums for All" program, which offers reduced-priced admission at museums and cultural institutions nationwide. The person who has the SNAP EBT card under their name must be present, and the card and a matching photo ID must be shown for entry. Learn more about Museums for All pricing here.

Open daily from 10 AM to 5 PM, except
Tuesdays, open from 1 PM to 5 PM
Please note that MoChiMu will be closed on Thanksgiving Day (November 23), December 11, December 12, Christmas Day (December 25), New Year’s Day (January 1), and January 9.
We will have modified, half-day hours on November 22 (AM only); Christmas Eve (AM only); New Year’s Eve (AM only), and every Tuesday (PM only).

MEMORIAL DAY EXTENDED HOURS (May 27)
Modesto Children’s Museum will be open from 9 AM to 6 PM on Memorial Day, May 27th, 2024! Pre-purchase tickets for your preferred entry time below.
When you select your admission using the buttons above, our ticketing system defaults to the next available date. Then, if you would like to choose a different date than the next available, select “Other dates…” to view a calendar of availability.

LOCATION: MoChiMu is located in downtown Modesto, on 11th Street between I and J. Our address is 928 11th St., Modesto CA 95354
PARKING: A city-owned, pay-to-park garage is located directly across from the museum on 11th St. Street parking is free – but time-limited – on 11th Street and through downtown Modesto.
FOOD & DRINK: We ask that food and drink not be brought into MoChiMu.
STROLLERS: MoChiMu is an active, exploratory space where just about every square foot is filled with activity! As a result, we do not have a designated space to park strollers, and navigating strollers around the museum may be difficult. We recommend that strollers be left in the car.
SERVICES: Our museum is equipped with family restrooms, a Calm Room, sensory-friendly kits to borrow at the Front Desk, and a nursing space.
