A free evening for educators (teachers, homeschool educators, paraprofessionals, administrators, & education college students) to explore MoChiMu’s programs and exhibits with colleagues!
Attendees can be the first to book Field Trips for the 2025 - 2026 school year, connect with other community partners, experience one of our new Outreach Workshops, enjoy snacks and drinks provided by SaveMart, and of course, explore MoChiMu – without kids!

Camp MoChiMu: Super Science Academy Week 1
“Earn your cape” this summer at a week of Camp MoChiMu’s brand new Super Science Academy! In this week-long camp-style experience for up-and-coming heroes (ages 5 - 11), we’ll investigate the science of superpowers – from flight to robotics, and levitation to elasticity. It’s a hands-on heroic training you won’t want to miss! Plus, pair a week of Super Science Academy with a week of Camp Creativity (below) to have a multi-week summer of discovery!

Unleash your inner artist and join us as we transform our camp rooms into a living art studio! In this week-long Camp Creativity, we’ll fill our days with games, with crafts, and with new artistic processes, new tools, and new creations every day. Campers ages 5 - 11 can draw, paint, sculpt, and perform, assembling a portfolio of works across the week! Pair it with a week of Super Science Academy to have a multi-week summer of discovery!

MoChiMu After Dark invites adults 18+ to unique after-hours events filled with unique activities, grown-up crafts, and community partner connections with a new theme every month! Unleash your inner nerd all while supporting MoChiMu’s mission to enrich the lives of all children by nurturing creativity, critical thinking, and a love of lifelong learning!
Break out your boombox, bucket hats, HitClips, and kickball… the ‘90s are back at MoChiMu After Dark: ‘90s Summer Camp! Relish in summer camp snacks and legendary “bug juice,” weave friendship bracelets and bead lizards, challenge your crew to classic board games, and even take to the Tall Tales Stage for karaoke with Britney, NSYNC, Spice Girls, and more!

The Association of Children’s Museums is teaming up with Netflix and DreamWorks Animation to bring Gabby from fan-favorite series, Gabby’s Dollhouse, to MoChiMu!
Explore and play at MoChiMu and have the chance to meet Gabby at Meow-seum Discover Days! This will be a cat-tastic day of fun at the Modesto Children’s Museum complete with a Dollhouse Scavenger Hunt, Gabby Dance-Parties at the Tall Tales Stage, and more!
