Lights, camera, and some serious action! That’s what awaits at Modesto Children’s Museum’s first ever PAJAMA JAM, a one-night-only cinematic celebration!

Join us on Friday, July 17th as we chill out at the Tall Tales Stage with a favorite film; munch on the State Theatre’s best-in-Modesto secret recipe popcorn; explore MoChiMu’s exhibits in a whole new light (by flashlight), and best of all, you’ll already be in your pajamas when the night ends!

  • All families are welcome to attend the Pajama Jam! This after-hours “Family Party” is part of our programming series (like the MoChiBoo Bash, Winter Bash, or the Dino Bash) designed for all ages, and to encourage families to explore, craft, and grow together! Just like with Museum admission - all adults must be accompanied by a child, and all children must be accompanied by an adult!

  • A full list of Pajama Jam activities will be made available soon, but prepare for snacks, crafts, play, discovery, and seeing the museum in a whole new light - with lowered house lights and flashlights!

  • Both children and adults are welcome to wear pajamas to this cozy “summer blockbuster” evening.

    Be mindful that all apparel is family friendly and remember that graphic content of any kind is not permitted in the Modesto Children’s Museum.

  • While the $7.50 MoChiMu for All rate applies only to standard general admission during the museum’s normal operating hours, we do offer a discounted $10 per person admission to after-hours Family Parties for those who qualify for and receive SNAP / EBT.

    Like with standard museum admission, you can pre-purchase the reduced-price SNAP / EBT ticket online, but the adult who qualifies for SNAP / EBT must be present and attending the event with their SNAP / EBT card and a matching photo ID required at check-in.

  • MoChiMu Members can register for Family Parties at a special $5 per person rate, versus the $20 per person rate for non-Members!
