Gear up for a family trail ride and summer celebration!
Join the Modesto Children’s Museum for a community bike ride and day of family fun in Downtown Modesto! Bike and trike down the Virginia Corridor to Roosevelt Park for our Summer Fun Celebration for all ages with food, hands-on activities, and more!
Bike N’ Trike Route & Celebration Maps
Our route will start at the Modesto Children’s Museum and end at Roosevelt Park - a distance of a little under 2 miles. Along the path, there will be first aid and water stations if you need. There will also be groups cheering along the trail.
To conclude our ride, we will be having a celebratory festival at the park, which will include summer safety activities, hands-on projects, food vendors, and more! We will having a parking area for participants to park their bikes for ease in enjoying the festivities.

The ride will be a 1.82 mile distance from the Modesto Children's Museum to Roosevelt Park.

Yes. At our summer festival at the end of the route, there will be local food vendors providing food and drinks for purchase.

No. There will be opportunities to use the bathroom at the starting point (MoChiMu) and ending point (Roosevelt Park). Please use prior to the start of the event.

There will be 3 stations for first aid and water along the trail, as well as at the beginning and end of the route.

We will have a pit crew there to help with small repairs.

The Modesto Police Department and Safe Kids Stanislaus will be at the event providing helmet fittings and free helmets.

Yes. There will be QR codes we will have for you to scan and register digitally.

Yes, we ask that park activity sponsors stay for the entirety of the event.

Bike to the event to avoid parking logistics!
Park near the finish line: Parking will be available at Roseburg square, near the bike trail parking lot.
Ride from the parking lot at Roseburg square to our starting point at the museum. Please note: roads will be closed prior to the event, but flaggers will not yet be at the intersections.
Park near the start: Park at the 9th, 11th & 12th Street Parking Garages in downtown Modesto, meet at the starting line by 8:15!
Ride with us to Roosevelt Park and then ride back to your car after enjoying the community festival. Please note: streets will no longer be closed and flaggers will no longer be present, please remember bike safety rules!
Drop off & pick up - Utilize the parking locations, but have a member of your party drop off or pick up the bulk of your group for efficiency.
Be mindful of the road closures before the event and plan your route to a garage accordingly.
