Choosing a Membership

We offer a range of membership levels to accommodate different sized families! Our smallest Membership package is for 2 people, and our largest is for 8 people. If you are purchasing a 4-Person Membership or higher, you also have the option to join

We offer Reciprocal Admission through the Association of Children’s Museums and the Association of Science & Technology Centers.
For MoChiMu Members:
ACM MoChiMu members can use their membership to get a 50% discount on general admission for up to 6 people at participating ACM museums. Visit the ACM website to find participating locations.
ASTC MoChiMu members can use their membership to get a 100% discount on general admission at participating ASTC museums at least 90 miles away. MoChiMu also has an independent 50% reciprocal agreement with some ASTC members within the 90 mile radius. Proof of residence is required. Be sure to contact the location you plan to visit in advance to confirm their reciprocal policy.
For guests visiting MoChiMu:
ACM Members of participating children’s museums within the ACM network can use their membership to get a 50% discount for up to 6 guests at Modesto Children’s Museum. When purchasing tickets online, please use code ACM to receive reciprocal admission. You must present a current membership card from an ACM Reciprocal Network museum that shows the ACM Reciprocal Network and a valid photo ID with proof of residence at the front desk when you visit to receive this discount.

Gift memberships begin on the date of purchase and will expire one year from the date of purchase.
Using Your Membership

To facilitate entry and manage capacity limits in the museum, member reservations are required. Member reservations will be available for both of our admission times each day of operation:
– Morning admission is from 10:00 am-Noon
– Afternoon admission is from 1:00 pm-4:30 pm

How to use your digital membership cards:
Please visit the App Store on an Apple device, or the GooglePlay store on an Android device to download the eMembership Card app.
– Once you have downloaded the app, search for “Modesto Children’s Museum” in the search bar and click on our logo.
– Click on “Find My Membership Cards,” enter your phone number/membership number and last name and click “Find.” Your digital cards should be displayed.
– While viewing your digital membership cards, you can choose “Add to Wallet” to add them to your digital wallet for easy access.
– When checking in for your visit, please show your digital membership card at the front desk (note: you will need to reserve your tickets online in advance).

To decrease the use of paper and plastic, Modesto Children’s Museum operates using a digital membership system, eMembership Card. Download the eMembership Card app to access your membership cards.

Memberships are good for one calendar year from the date of purchase (ex: memberships purchased on 1/1/24 will be good through 1/1/25).

Museum Memberships do not include guest passes. Guests will need to pay for admission.

For MoChiMu Members: As a member of Modesto Children’s Museum, you can use your membership to get a 50% discount for up to 6 members at other Museums within the ACM network. Please visit the ACM website for a complete listing of participating museums.
For guests visiting MoChiMu: As a member of another Children’s Museum within the ACM network, you can use your membership to get a 50% discount for up to 6 members at Modesto Children’s Museum. When purchasing tickets online, please use code ACM24 to receive reciprocal admission. You must present a current membership card from an ACM Reciprocal Network museum with the ACM Reciprocal Network logo on the card and a valid photo ID with proof of residence at Admissions when you visit to receive this discount.
